Every fall, the season builds to one weekend. Last year, that weekend turned thirty.
Thirty years, and counting
The league marked three decades of its signature tradition with the 30th Anniversary Columbus Day Tournament Finals Celebration at Westhill High School: a free community event, powered by The Papallo Family Fund, benefiting the SISL Annual Scholarship Fund for local student-athletes and the fund's medical initiatives.
It looked the way a Stamford afternoon should. Free food and drink from Mario the Baker, Pausa Caffè, and the Council of Italian American Organizations. Trick-or-treats from Mike's Monsters. A live DJ, play-by-play, and halftime show from Carozza Entertainment. Adoptable dogs from Project Precious Rescue. And in the middle of it all, the finals.
The 31st annual season
